The design functions both as a piece of art, but also as a performative surface to acoustically attenuate the large atrium. Working closely with the design and manufacturing teams, Tekne Lab developed the final fabrication logics by creating a physics based relaxation simulation in order to determine the precise steel cable lengths required for the artworks underlying framework.
